Corey and Shauna Bauhs are the hearts behind The Upper Room. From traveling the country in a tiny van to discovering the power of everyday ministry, their journey has always been about seeing God at work in ordinary spaces and ordinary people.
When they settled in Cambridge, they opened The Upper Room to create a gathering space where faith, community, and service intersect. Here, stewardship meets opportunity, relationships flourish, and lives are touched in unexpected ways — whether through a conversation over coffee, volunteering alongside local organizations, or simply sharing a moment of presence with someone in need.
Together, Corey and Shauna lead a mission that goes beyond the shop: bringing Jesus into the marketplace, supporting their neighbors, and inspiring faith in action, both locally and online.

The Upper Room gives back, our Take A Bible, Leave A Bible program is one driven by our mission of loving our neighbors in need, what better way than with the living word of God.

Such treasure to be found here. You will love the atmosphere, full of art and love. It's clear the owners love what they do and the people they serve. I met the owner, Shauna on a walk and she invited us in. It turned into a magical playhouse of dress up and play. I had my eye on this coat and walked out with a few bags of fabulous clothes and memories. But the most important thing is that I felt loved and known by the owners and memories for a lifetime. My wish would be everyone could visit this store and every business could be run like this. If you read and take away anything from this review, let it be this, the owners asked to pray for me and my family and we sat in a circle and prayed. This is what this store is about.

I LOVE this store and Shauna! I did a personal shopping experience with Shauna for an outfit to wear to me sister’s wedding. I’ve never had something like this with 2nd hand clothing. And now I know this is the only place to do it with! Shauna’s process was easy and it was so fun trying things on in her shop. She went shopping especially for me and what I was looking for and she was spot on for what I liked and was looking for.
